Direct Support Professional
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Support Professionals provide assistance
for individuals with developmental disabilities in any environment,
which the individual chooses to participate. Assist in providing
opportunities for informed personal choice by the individual in
area of work, school recreation, living arrangements, neighborhoods
and community inclusion. Will treat individuals with respect and
dignity while preserving their confidentiality and privacy. May
include providing personal hygiene supports in people's homes or
at their place of employment.
HOURS:
Full and Part time positions available.
Days/evenings/overnights/weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required to pass 8th grade literacy exam
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License, in good standing

Respite Staff
RESPITE is a flexible program; you are the "companion"
for children and adults with disabilities, while their primary caregiver/family
member gets some time for relaxation and rejuvenation.
RESPITE staff enjoy flexible work hours and
the varied experiences that this program has to offer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required to pass 8th grade literacy exam
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License, in good standing

On-site Residential Supervisor
Provide staff supervision and direct supports
for people with disabilities living in the community. Position requires
20 hours of direct supports and 20 hours supervision, On call responsibilities
on a rotation basis .Regular schedule will include day, evening
and weekend hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One-year experience working with people with
developmental disabilities
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Illinois driver's license and current
proof of automobile insurance
- Supervisory experience
- Computer knowledge
