Direct Support Professional

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct Support Professionals provide assistance for individuals with developmental disabilities in any environment, which the individual chooses to participate. Assist in providing opportunities for informed personal choice by the individual in area of work, school recreation, living arrangements, neighborhoods and community inclusion. Will treat individuals with respect and dignity while preserving their confidentiality and privacy. May include providing personal hygiene supports in people's homes or at their place of employment.

HOURS:
Full and Part time positions available.
Days/evenings/overnights/weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Required to pass 8th grade literacy exam

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Valid Illinois Driver's License, in good standing

Janitor ( full and part time)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities, location, and work sites within the standards agreed upon by agency and it's Janitorial Services' customers. Examples of required duties would be: Clean and maintain floors, properly collect and dispose of trash/litter, properly clean glass, properly clean, disinfect and sanitize required areas (restrooms, break areas, etc.),properly dust, maintain grounds according to customer contract, and assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of Janitorial Services' supplies and assets. Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Perform other tasks, consistent with qualifications or regular duties, as needed and/or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Illinois Driver's License, in good standing
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
