SPICE of Marcfirst understands the importance of building a strong communication bond with your baby. Therefore, we offer Baby and Me Sign Classes for caregivers and their young child.
(class is ideal for caregivers and children over the age of 8 months)

Classes are designed to:

Sign to Me
  • Educate you as a caregiver on the benefits of using sign language with your child
  • Provide instruction and support from a Speech Language Pathologist on how to introduce sign language
  • Help you develop a support system of other caregivers using these same strategies with their children.
  • Use instructional materials to increase your knowledge and competency with sign language

Early communication skills can:

  • Decrease child and caregiver frustration
  • Help build bonds and relationships

Classes meet twice per week (Tuesday and Thursday mornings) for 4 weeks. Classes are 1 hour in length.
